Installation and Commissioning of Your Brewery
Starting a Brewery; Installation and Commissioning
We are offering this consultancy package as the second step in setting up your microbrewery or pub brewery.
By now you would have planned, specified and ordered your brewery from a manufacturer and are ready to begin the installation and commissioning stage so as to ensure you will be able brew good beer consistently.
(This package can be used as a stand alone package or can be combined with other packages or as part of a total package to get your brewery going. Refer to Packages of 3 or more or Having it All- The whole consulting package)
We come to your brewery for up to 5 days to supervise your trades to install the brewery.
You will have to ensure electrician, plumber and refrigeration technicians are on site, when we are, to discuss in detail requirements and functionality of the brewery.
We will also advise exact placement of the brewery and setting up and balancing the tanks into the correct position.
We will advise on cleaning regime and a checking protocol that the CIP works well.
Depending on how rapidly works proceed we will leave final installation to the trades and constantly communicate remotely until completion.
We will the return for the commissioning stage and test all equipment with a water/caustic brew. Then we will brew the first beer with the brewer and teach him all the nuances of the system.
This stage may take up to 4 days.
The next package "Cellaring, Carbonation, Clarification and filtration" can be undertaken as a separate package.

No refunds or part thereof are available for non-attendance or cancellation of any of the classes.
However, in the event that a student has legitimate reason to discontinue the course (medical, family emergency etc.) the student needs to provide appropriate certification, and agreement reached between CBC and the student on an appropriate refund. Full refunds are not available and a maximum of 50% refund may be applicable.
No refunds or part thereof are available for non-attendance of any of the classes.
However, in the event that a student has legitimate reason to discontinue the course (medical, family emergency etc.) the student needs to provide appropriate certification, and agreement reached between CBC and the student on an appropriate refund. Full refunds are not available.
There is no assessment for short courses and no prior knowledge requirement to enrol. It is, however, recommended that you have had some prior exposure to home brewing of some sort.
